Drone Shots of Empty Atlanta Streets go Viral

A lot of people grumbled about the COVID lockdown, but I loved it. Work slowed down, the city was quiet and I had more time to spend with my wife and daughters. Abandoned streets felt like a post-apocalyptic movie set and created a great opportunity to get out and safely master my drone.

What started as an exercise to really master my Mavic Pro became something of a viral sensation. In three days, my video racked up more than 45,000 views on various platforms. I built a really great library of Atlanta landmarks and found this excursion a great way to really enjoy the city when it was empty, quiet and still.
