Candidate for Atlanta City Council, Jason Winston reached out to Brent Dey to shoot a series of videos for his winning District 1 campaign. Strategy and scripts were developed by Southern Majority’s Amy Morton. Brent worked with Jason’s campaign manager John Kress to produce each of the four campaign spots and then shot the commercials in the field with the help of Kress and gaffer Azariah Oldacre.

”These videos were of the quality you normally see in a mayoral campaign,” said Morton. “We had strong engagement on each video on YouTube and through our social media outlets. We feel these videos did a great job of introducing Jason to the community and worked to our advantages in a tight runoff election.”

For his part, Brent feels he was working with an extremely likable candidate who has a passion for moving his community forward. The strategy and scripts developed by Morton and her team were concise and smart and Kress kept everything moving according to schedule. ”Brent was enthusiastic, full of ideas and really put the effort in to make these videos great,” Winston says. “He has endless energy, is very thorough and you could tell he really cared about my campaign.”
